FULL SCHOLARSHIP COVER

Tuition waiver: Tuition funds will be comprehensively used by the host university. It may cover scholarship students’ education, administration costs, and expenditures to support student activities.

Accommodation: free university dormitory or accommodation subsidy.

If the host university requires students to live on campus, the university will accommodate the scholarship students in a university dormitory (usually a twin room); if the host university permits students to live off-campus, the university will provide monthly/quarterly accommodation subsidy:

Master’s students (general scholars): CNY 700 per month

Doctoral students (senior scholars): CNY 1,000 per month.

Stipend:

Master’s students/general scholars: CNY 3,000 per month;

Doctoral students/senior scholars: CNY 3,500 per month.

Note:

Students enrolled in scholarship programs facilitated by the Pak Green Landscape are entitled to receive a monthly stipend from the host university for the duration of their program. The disbursement of stipends is governed by specific guidelines aimed at ensuring fairness and efficiency in the allocation of financial support.

For students who successfully register for a scholarship, the timing of their registration within a given month plays a crucial role in determining the extent of their stipend for that particular month. Those who complete their registration on or before the 15th of the month are eligible to receive the entire stipend amount allocated for that month. In contrast, students who initiate their registration after the 15th of the month will receive a prorated portion of the full stipend for that month.

Additionally, the support extends to graduating students, who are eligible to receive stipends until the conclusion of the first month following their graduation date. This policy recognizes the transitional period that follows graduation, providing financial assistance as individuals navigate post-academic endeavors.

An important stipulation pertains to the residency status of registered students in China. Should a student be absent from the country for personal reasons for a period exceeding 15 days, their stipend will be temporarily suspended for the duration of their absence. It’s worth noting that this provision excludes school holidays, emphasizing that the suspension is applicable solely to personal absences.

This measure is in place to ensure the responsible use of financial resources and to align with the intended purpose of the stipend, which is to support students during their academic pursuits within the host country. By temporarily suspending stipend payments during extended personal absences, the system aims to uphold the integrity of the scholarship program and direct financial assistance where it is most impactful—toward students actively engaged in their academic responsibilities in China.

The stipend system not only serves as a means of financial support but also incentivizes timely and responsible actions on the part of the students. Registering before the 15th of the month not only ensures the full stipend for that month but also reflects a commitment to the program’s guidelines. Conversely, those registering after the 15th understand that their stipend for the initial month will be prorated, motivating students to initiate their registration promptly.

The Pak Green Landscape recognizes the importance of financial support in facilitating successful academic journeys for international students. The stipend system, with its well-defined criteria and considerations, aligns with the organization’s commitment to providing a supportive environment for scholars pursuing their educational goals in Chinese universities.

In essence, the stipend policy underscores the Pak Green Landscape’s dedication to fairness, responsibility, and effective resource allocation within its scholarship programs. By implementing clear guidelines regarding stipend disbursement, the organization strives to enhance the overall experience of scholarship recipients, fostering an environment where financial support is seamlessly integrated with academic pursuits, thereby maximizing the impact of the scholarship initiatives.
